FAQ
I cannot log in to Research Explorer. What should I do?
Answer:
Any UT Dallas faculty, staff or student with a valid net id and password can login to Research Explorer.
If there are login problems, we suggest the following procedure:
  1. Check if the netid and password combination are correctly typed. Make sure caps lock on your computer is off.
  2. If you still cannot log in, try logging in to any other UTD web application like Galaxy/Orion or even your email client.
    • If you cannot log in to any or all of those applications, there might be something wrong with your UTD computer account. Please contact UTD Helpdesk or manage your account at: https://netid.utdallas.edu
    • If you are still having trouble, please try clearing your browser's cache. You can also try using a different browser (Firefox, Chrome, etc.)
    • If you can log in successfully to any or all of those applications but cannot login to Research Explorer after clearing your cache and trying a new browser, please contact the Research Explorer helpdesk at the Feedback Page or at Explorer@utdallas.edu or at x4561.
